Welcome to Curious Kids Preschool located at Alma School & Queen Creek Roads in Chandler, Arizona. We are a family owned academic preschool that caters for 2 to 5 year-olds in four spacious classrooms having no more than 12 students per class and no more than 8 in our 2s classroom. We opened our purpose built school in October 2012.
Curious Kids Preschool has half-day STEAM (Science, Art, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) based programs of 2, 3 or 5 days per week. Our fees include a healthy snack and enrichment classes encompassing science, Spanish, art, yoga, and character education. We focus on the educational and social development of children and opening their minds to a multicultural world view.

Curious Kids Preschool is a community. We are a friendly, non-institutional school where lasting friendships are made between children, parents and staff. We are happy to pass on our recommendations or to connect parents whether it be to find a medical practitioner, where to get swim lessons, play sports, or the best places to entertain the kids in the heat of summer.
Our teachers are parents as well as educators, and can offer insightful advice about raising your children.
Curious Kids Preschool is located in the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD), within one block of Hancock, Basha, Jacobson, and Tarwater Elementary schools (zip codes 85286 and 85248). As such, we align our curriculum with CUSD so, for example, when CUSD switched from D’Nealian handwriting to traditional ball and stick, so did we. Our curriculum prepares each child for the CUSD Kindergarten Individual Screening/Skills Test (KIST) taken by every student entering CUSD Kindergarten. We have a summer program throughout June and July.
Our school is fully licensed with the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Childcare Licensing. Each of our staff has many years experience of teaching preschool and all are degree qualified.

Our curriculum is academically based, but much more than reading, writing, and numeracy. |
Each class conducts an engaging hands-on science experiment weekly. |

Once a month each student completes an art masterpiece project that is hung in our gallery. |
Every week our certified children’s yoga teacher gives a fun yoga class to each classroom. |

Physical Activities
We do fun gross motor skills activities each day – obstacle courses, musical chairs, and yarn laser mazes. |
Character Education    We have a character word of the week that the teachers incorporate into their lessons. We also teach our students good manners. |
